Junior/Mid-Level DBA/Production Support Developer
Overview
Our company seeks a junior to mid-level Developer to join our production support team in beautiful Kalispell, Montana. The software is delivered via a web-based ‘Service Oriented Architecture’ model. Core responsibilities of the position include supporting our software deployment and enhancement. We are seeking individuals that are excited to be a part of building and supporting a great product, company and culture.
Areas of Responsibility
- Resolve product issues by providing hot fixes and service packs as necessary
- Leverage skills in C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL to support and enhance existing features of our applications
- Work collaboratively with other development peers to design and implement web-based product features and enhancements
- Provide on-going support to corporate staff with application related questions and issues
Technical Qualifications
- 1+ years SQL
- 1+ years experience developing in C#, C++, Java or any other object-oriented language
- Working experience with Microsoft SQL 2005 and developing with relational database technologies
- Base understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Insurance industry experience is helpful but not necessary
- BS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or commensurate professional experience
